Exclusions and Clarifications
1. We have assumed that the existing meters are in good working order.
2. We assume that all meters in question have an existing working pulsed output.
3. Meters and Data Logger hardware to be free issue by client.
4. SIM Cards to be free issue by client.
5. The duration of the SIM Card contract will be for 12 months from installation unless otherwise stated.
6. Data Management / Transfer costs are included for a 12 month period unless otherwise stated. MeterXpert will contact your representative in the two months prior to expiry to offer terms for continuation / extension.
7. A full program of the proposed works and Risk Assessment Method Statement will be produced on request upon receipt of a purchase order or letter of intent.
8. Please also note that lead-in times of a number of weeks may be required for the procurement of some equipment and the availability of engineering resource. This will be confirmed upon request after receipt of a purchase order or letter of intent.
9. The data retrieval and maintenance period shall commence from the date of completion.
10. Our proposal is subject to us having unrestricted access when completing the work. If a Programme of Works is agreed and this cannot be fulfilled by the end client we reserve the right to submit variations to complete the work.
11. We assume that no Current Transformers are required unless otherwise stated.
12. We assume that all third party components are in good working order.
13. This quote assumes in hours working (0800-1800). Out of hours working will incur additional costs.
14. We have assumed there is sufficient GSM/GPRS coverage at the locations required. We cannot be responsible for future network changes or site alterations which may affect signal strength.
15. We have only allowed for a single engineer unless otherwise stipulated at the time of this quotation. Heavy lifting and Electrical installation working may necessitate additional attendance.
16. We assume that any permission required for connection of our hardware to utility supply authority meters/loggers has been arranged and granted before our works commence unless otherwise stated.
MeterXpert can arrange for permission/connection points to be installed which will have to include a re-visit to site. This service will be at an additional cost to this quotation.
17. We have included for the completion of the Primary Gas MPU process within our quotation. Please note this will only apply for the connection made to the current Meter Asset Manager (MAM) number. If in future the primary fiscal meter is exchanged all previous MPU processes become null and void.
18. This quote assumes no pulse splitters or chatterboxes are required unless otherwise stated.
19. We have not allowed for the installation of any 230V supplies. A 230V supply is required adjacent to each Data Hub Concentrator /Repeater in the form of an un-switched socket outlet.
20. We have not allowed for the installation of any Ethernet or LAN points which may be required.
21. We cannot be responsible for the class accuracy and integrity of any existing Current Transformers, cabling and/or connections which are to be re-used in the installation. This includes any polarity/synchronisation issues.
22. Any connections to primary meters as detailed in the above will be undertaken as stated. We cannot be held responsible for the disconnection of our telemetry and or equipment by third parties, re-connection in this event will incur additional costs.
23. We have not allowed within our quotation for the decorative making good required as a result achieving access.
24. Redundant metering equipment which has been removed by MeterXpert will be left on site in an agreed location. Alternatively MeterXpert can provide detail and cost for disposal upon request.
25. If an agreed appointment is cancelled/postponed within 48 hours prior to the start time we reserve the right to charge our standard day rate engineer cost. This is per engineer and in addition to any quoted project costs.
26. We have only allowed for the drilling of holes up to and including a diameter of 25mm.
27. We assume that our engineers will have free secure parking for their vehicle made available.
28. We have not allowed for any specialist access equipment such as scaffolding or ladders and therefore have assumed that safe access to all areas required for our installation will be provided unless otherwise identified at the time of this quotation.
29. We have not allowed for any time or associated costs regarding specific site induction meetings or PPE issues other than as specified in writing prior to our arrival on site.
30. We have not allowed for any specific engineering requirements as may be detailed in any client engineering specification documentation we have not been privy to prior to formulating this quotation.
31. We have assumed that all circuits to be worked upon to enable our works can be isolated and made safe.
32. We cannot be responsible for ensuring any third party supplies or sub-circuits are re-energised after our installation is complete.
33. We have assumed that any liaison required to enable our works will be provided by yourselves and be in full attendance or contactable throughout our works, and that such liaison will be qualified and authorised to advise.
34. We cannot commence works (including proprietary Health and Safety documentation) or begin the process of procuring equipment/hardware until such time we are in receipt of an official Purchase Order to the value of this quotation.
35. We have made no allowance within this quotation for the provision of as installed drawings unless otherwise stated. This service can be provided upon request at an additional cost to this quotation.
36. We have made no allowance within this quotation for the installation, repair or replacement of any fire stopping materials. This service can be provided upon request at an additional cost to this quotation.
37. We have not included within this quotation for the provision of any training to be carried out to our client or any third party unless otherwise stated.
38. Payment terms are strictly 30 days.
